Finance Council

As Catholics, we are called to serve, Stewardship is central to our faith. We are called to be generous with our time and talents – to receive God’s gifts with gratitude, cultivate them, and share them with others. We know this is our duty as a Catholic, but what’s in it for us?

Canon Law tells us every parish must have a Finance Council. Our work is important to help guide the Parish Financial resources in a positive direction to help our Parish strive to deliver what we need as a Catholic Community

The Finance Council meets once a month on the 4th Thursday of the Month
Members receive an agenda and background material of what will be discussed before each meeting. This gives them time to prepare their input for the meeting.

A background in accounting or finance is helpful. The ability to assist with budgets, impact of projects (revenue and cost) and fund raising are a few. Innovative thinking and some background with technical systems and software is helpful.
