Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) - Begins Sunday, September 22nd
For children in grades K – 5, Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a fun and engaging Lectionary-based program held during the Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass. It includes prayer, the Sunday Scripture readings proclaimed and explained on an age-appropriate level, Prayers of the Faithful,
and more. Any child in this age group may participate – no registration is required.
Father Wayne calls the children to the front of the Altar for a blessing after the Opening Prayer. The children process out of the Mass behind the Catechist holding up the Lectionary for Masses with
Children and followed by the Catechist Helper in the rear. They walk quietly out of the Church and use the elevator to gather in the Parish Hall. Children return to their parents before the start of the
Liturgy of the Eucharist. CLOW starts Sunday, September 22nd.
