We gather together at the Foot of the Cross (at St. Joseph's Church) to explore the mystery of human suffering, of our own personal suffering and the suffering of our world. We lay our burdens down and we offer them up in prayer, trusting in God's love and grace. We come compelled by the deep need of our heart and guided by the deep imperative of our faith. To find meaning and to support one another in the difficult moments of our lives. We find comfort ("with strength") and compassion ("with suffering") in community.
Join Fr. Wayne Dawson and Sherry Cassedy this Thursday evening for “Meditation on Suffering At the Foot of the Cross”, as we contemplate the meaning of human suffering, with music, reflection, communal and individual prayer at the Foot of the Cross. Thursday, March 28, 6:30-8:00 p.m., in the Church.
