Weekly Announcements:
CHRISTMAS BOOKS
Christmas books are available after all Masses this weekend. A donation of $5.00 is appreciated to help us cover the cost of the books.
GIVING TREE
This year, our Giving Tree will expand our outreach to those in need. Through your generous contributions, we will be able to help support those in need in our parish as well as the Guadalupe Outreach Resource Center, Sienna House, the Jesus, Mary, and Joseph House and St. Vincent de Paul. Those of you wishing to contribute to this community opportunity may bring gift cards to the parish office or place them in the collection basket in an envelope with the name of the recipient indicating where you wish your gift card to go. Also, if you wish to contribute to those experiencing food disparity, our St. Vincent de Paul ministry accepts non-perishable food items in the bin in the vestibule.
ADORATION CHAPEL
The Adoration Chapel will be closed from Dec. 18 to Jan. 1.
THANK YOU
Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers who assisted the parish staff in the preparation and mailing of our Christmas letter from Fr. Wayne.
We wish to extend a special Thank You to all involved in making the Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe and the beautiful Mass such a spirited and worshipful experience. Please see photos of this event in our bulletin. We also offer our deep gratitude to Bishop Garcia and Deacon Ford for being with us to celebrate this Mass to our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas.

If you are over age 72 and have a traditional retirement account (e.g. 401K, IRA) you are required to make annual taxable distributions to yourself, however if you are in the fortunate position of not needing all of your distribution for living expenses and are charitably inclined, you can avoid income tax on a portion of your RMD by donating that portion directly to a qualified charity-- Saint Joseph Catholic Community is a qualified charity.
NOTE to parishioners of all ages --
Please consider naming Saint Joseph Catholic Community as a beneficiary in your will or trust ( for example 2% of your estate).
