Lenten Prayer
Prayer to Jesus in the Eucharist
Jesus, from all eternity you were pleased to give yourself to us in love. And you planted within us a deep spiritual desire that can only be satisfied by yourself. We are made to love you; you created us as your lovers. If my tongue cannot say in every moment that I love you, I want my heart to repeat it to you as often as I draw breath.          Amen

AMA

This week we kick off our “Bridges of Hope” 2019 Annual Ministry Appeal. You may have already received a letter from the Diocese in the mail. This appeal is an opportunity to join the communal efforts of 250,000+ Catholics in the Central Coast to support the ministries of the Diocese of Monterey.
Your generous gift to the 2019 Annual Ministry Appeal
will help support those in need and provide support and services to our brothers and sisters in Christ, building Bridges of Hope.
Your contribution also will start building our reserves for our upcoming Hall Remodel. We expect the remodel to cost
$340,000 so we can have a fresh, inviting, and prayerful hall to receive church receptions, funerals, religious education classes as well as many other community and ministry events.
Please prayerfully consider your gift to this years’ Annual Ministry Appeal. As our Parish strives to unite in Christ with the faithful of the Diocese, we will see ourselves being good stewards of the many gifts the Lord provides each and every one of us. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.

St. Joseph's Homeless Outreach Ministry

St. Joseph’s Outreach Ministry to the Homeless is once again this year teaming up with The Association of Faith Communities to serve homeless men, women and families at the winter shelter. Last year 40 members of St. Joseph’s community volunteered for two weeks at the Winter shelter and at The Faith Community Shelter at Resurrection Church. Everyone found this experience very worthwhile and rewarding. This Lenten season we will volunteer at the Winter Shelter located at the VFW Hall. We are asking for volunteers to serve dinner to our homeless guests, March 17th - 23rd , 5:30 - 7:30. No cooking is needed.
If you are looking for a Lenten Sacrifice and something GOOD to do for “the least of our brothers and sisters” please call St. Joseph’s office to sign up for one night. We look forward to serving with you in this very special ministry.
“I was hungry and you gave me food. “

Go to God In Prayer

We all have cares and problems

We cannot solve alone,

But if we go to God in prayer,

We are never on our own.

A wise man listens to advise.  Proverbs 12. 15.

Today if you feel lonely invite Jesus and Mary to join you.

Our Saint Joseph Music Ministry provides beauty, joy, comfort, and inspiration for our liturgies and festive parish celebrations.
