About Our Program:
Saint Joseph’s Religious Education programs make lasting impacts on the faith-lives of our parish children. It is a loving community of learning, spiritual growth, and opportunities for Catholic faith-in-action. Our teaching philosophy is to make learning fun, engaging and meaningful. Your child will grow in a sense of belonging in our parish, in our Catholic faith, and in our community. Our Religious Education program offers interactive classes and opportunities from preschool through high school. Our volunteer catechists are all talented teachers with a passion for children and their faith formation. Come join us - everyone is welcome!
The primary purpose of St. Joseph's Religious Education Program is faith formation. Faith formation is an ongoing development of the whole person into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. St. Joseph's Religious Education Program strives to provide a solid foundation in our faith, age-appropriate to the students in our program. Students are encouraged to begin formal religion education classes, starting in the First (1st) Grade, and continuing through the Fifth (5th) Grade. We grow in our faith by participating together in these fun, faith-filled activities: Living Rosary, Giving Thanks to the Lord, Works of Mercy Service projects, Christmas Carols, Stations of the Cross, and more!
*Religious Education classes meet Thursdays, 4:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., in the Parish Center.
